Once there was a son of the Chi family, named Yizhou, who lived in the town and had a keen interest in the arts of sight and sound. One day, he wanted to create two membership cards, which needed to be printed on card paper. However, the design was unclear, so he decided to reprint it.
Yizhou knew that there was a shop called Moyuan Studio in the east of the town, where the printing skills were quite high, so he walked there. Upon arriving at the shop, he found the doors tightly closed and the place eerily quiet, which made him suspicious. He pushed the door open and saw the walls were desolate, with no one to answer.
Looking around, he noticed the printing tools scattered on the table. Yizhou felt a mix of doubt and joy, thinking, "This must be heaven helping me." He then took the paper and ink and placed the card on top. The sound of the machine vibrated, and in an instant, it was renewed. Yizhou was overjoyed and wanted to find the shop owner to express his gratitude.
Just as he was about to call out, he suddenly felt a gentle breeze on his face, and the items in the shop seemed to flicker in and out of view. Soon, the wind grew stronger, and everything in the shop vanished from sight. Yizhou was frightened and hurried out of the room.
When he looked back outside, Moyuan Studio had completely disappeared. The next day, when he returned to the old location, it was overgrown with weeds, and there was no sign of human presence.
The neighbors heard about this incident and all found it strange. Some said, "This Moyuan Studio was an old shop from a hundred years ago." As time passed, the shop also faded away.
People began to share this story, considering it an interesting tale. Later generations referred to it as "The Strange Tale of Moyuan Studio," adding a piece to the lore.
This story, whether considered a legend or not, possesses an elegance of its own. Yizhou, the son of the Chi family, sought artistry with great eagerness and ended up with a fine creation, while Moyuan Studio vanished like a mirage. If this scene is not legendary, then what is it? Yet the story also carries a profound metaphor, suggesting the importance of cherishing current skills and the heart of craftsmanship.
In today's world, one could humorously reflect on this story by saying:
"Since Yizhou has obtained the joy of a clear membership card, why was Moyuan Studio empty? Could it be that this shop is a place where time and space intersect, only opening for those destined to find it? If so, why not announce this to the world, so everyone knows there is a wondrous shop that can convey emotions through its printing, leaving marks in history?"
Furthermore, while discussing the effective use of modern technology, one must not forget the value of ancient craftsmanship. What should one keep in mind? The answer is: "To give someone a rose, one’s hands still have the fragrance left. To pass on skills is to carry on the legacy in one’s heart."
